School Visits

About

School visit bookings

At Baylham House Farm we are passionate about education and are continually developing the options available to school parties.

We cover the topics of food and farming, observing nature, animal experiences and environmental studies. These topics will cover Key Stages 1-3. However, the farm is a fantastic educational resource for children of all ages from nursery, right up to A-Level. We are happy to tailor your visit to suit your individual school needs.

All school trips will have access to a sheltered, undercover area to use as a base throughout the visit. A pre-visit is welcome in advance of any school trips, so that you can familiarise yourself with any necessary safety information and discuss the format of the day with us.

We are pleased to offer a variety of activities to choose from for your school trip. Please see our information guide for more information.

Key information

School trips usually run from 10:00am - 2:30pm.

We have a minimum requirement of 20 students per visit or a minimum charge for 20 students.

Paying visitors must outnumber accompanying adults.

Each child will also be issued with a free child entry voucher for them to take home after the visit. The voucher will entitle them to a free child entry with a paying adult, if they would like to visit the farm again.

If you would like to request a school visit to our farm, please use the contact form below.

🌿 Testimonial

“Working with birds of prey through falconry offers a powerful connection to nature that supports our mental health. The presence of these incredible animals encourages us to step outdoors, slow down, and find calm in the natural world. It’s a grounding experience that builds resilience, restores balance, and reminds us of the healing power of fresh air and open skies.”
